After you create your survey, you will be given instructions on how respondents can log in to complete it. You should test your survey to make sure it appears the way you want it to. To test the survey, just complete it as if you were a respondent. Do not worry about the data that are stored when you test the survey. Once you are done testing, you can delete the survey responses.
To delete all survey responses from the Survey Administrator, select "Survey Summary" and click on the survey name. Then click on the "Clear Results" button.
Be sure not to generate a report for the testing data. Once you generate a report, you cannot delete a survey or the survey responses.
If you find anything in your survey that you want to change, you can either clear the results and select the "Edit Survey" option in the Survey Administrator or delete the entire survey and start from scratch. To delete a survey, select "Survey Summary" and click on the survey name. Then click on the "Delete Survey" button.
Remember that once respondents have started completing the survey, you will not be able to change the survey content without clearing all the results. Therefore, it is important to make sure the survey is exactly as you want it before asking respondents to complete it.
